Transfer chair for patient transport within hospital or community environment, suited for admission, accident & emergency department (A&E) and ward transfer purposes. It is also well suited for external transfers or when there is a need to jump over obstacles or uneven ground smoothly. Solid front wheels with Ø 30 cm and 2 swivelling rear castors Ø 12.5 cm. The carer can easily move the chair with patient on board, even in extremely small spaces. With footrest fully touching the ground and backrest up, it enables the patient to safely perform any activities involving sitting or standing up. Armrests can be flipped back to allow side access. The backrest can be reclined via gas spring control creating a seat tilt (-33°/+6°) that allows for a better position to rest and relax. Equipped with pushing handle, back pocket and pedal for the activation of “central braking system” and “steering-lock system” on the two rear wheels. Max weight capacity 160 kg.
