The EVOMED reloadable Linear Cutter Stapler (OLC-V) is a disposable stapling device, available in 60mm, 80mm and 100mm lengths, that delivers two double staggered rows of titanium staples of 2 different sizes (3.8mm and 4.8mm) to accommodate varying tissue thicknesses between a range of 1.5mm and 2.mm, while simultaneously cutting and dividing tissue between the 2 double rows, providing ease of use and superior performance.
The OLC-V is delivered sterile and is composed of 2 parts, and cartridge half, which includes the disposable reload cartridge, containing the staples and staple drivers and cutting blade assembly, and the anvil half, against which the staplers form. Surgeon comfort and control is optimised through its ergonomic design, rubber grip inlays and bilateral firing lever for left or right handed use. Clinical outcome is assured as the stapler creates perfect ‘B’ shaped staples consistently along the staple line.
The OLC-V may be reloaded up to 7 times for a total of 8 firings in the same procedure when used on the same patient.The EVOMED OLC-V is indicated for easy, efficient and convenient tissue resection, transection and creating of anastomosis in abdominal, gynecological, pediatric and thoracic surgical procedures. It may be used to replace manual suturing, reducing operating time, tissue handling and improving hemostasis.
