The Dino-Lite DermaScope® Polarizer HR 200x (MEDL7DM) has a 5 megapixel camera and magnifications of 10 to 70x and around 200x. Also this model DermaScope® features a built-in and fully adjustable polarization filter to reduce the gloss effect of the skin. The MEDL7DM also stands out from the MEDL4DM by the sleek metal casing.
The Dino-Lite DermaScope® 200x models are special models at a much higher magnification, which is often used for specialized dermatological applications or, for example, the analysis of skin biopsies. Because of the high magnification of this model suspicious nevi can be analysed with more accuracy. In practice, this model is used for the analysis and interpretation of biopsies and other preparations, in short, more for laboratory research.
